StillSeat is a small American brand with one job. We sell a single round meditation cushion, built on a firm high-density foam core and covered in washable linen, and we sell it directly to you through this site with no store in between.
Why StillSeat exists
Most products sold as meditation seats are throw pillows with better marketing. They photograph beautifully, then they compress flat within a few minutes of sitting, and your knees and lower back spend the rest of the session compensating. After twelve years of daily practice, our reviewer Rachel Bennett had seen enough soft cushions fail at the one thing a meditation seat must do, which is hold a stable height under a seated adult.
StillSeat sells the opposite of that. Our cushion measures 40 cm (15.7 in) across and 6 cm (2.36 in) thick, and its firm foam core keeps that height while you sit. Rachel Bennett is a meditation practitioner with 12 years of daily seated practice, and she reviews floor seating the unglamorous way: with a tape measure, a washing machine, and a lot of sitting. She takes the measurements you see on our pages herself, and she reads every verified review that comes in from buyers. We sell one model and we keep it in five colors: Dark Purple, Gray, White, Khaki, and Red, each finished with the same gold lotus embroidery on top.
